16/12/2022 - Okay its been over a week…

… Okay, it has been a little over a week without an update, but I added two new maps today as I learn how to use more tools in the GIMP suite. I pinched the textures from Inkarnate.com, checkout their map making site - it looks very cool.

In other news… I have dropped my Wheel of Time adaptation project. The team was bummed but we found another guy’s work from 2020 that was mint, true to the source material and frankly a fine product that I hope to run with my group one day. Find it on Facebook here (you will need to join the group), and contact Nimrod fo the latest iteration.

The next couple of days are tied up with family stuff, it’s that time of year, but I am wanting to get a few more maps up before Christmas.

Thanks!

07/12/2022 - Hexmap coordinates!

Check out the hexmaps section, Featureless Surface shows off coordinates. I plan to retouch the maps with these.

Thanks :)

06/12/2022 - MechWarrior - Destiny House Rules and more!

Loving the new look version of the roleplaying game set in the BattleTech universe. My group and I were able to get a few sessions in with the rules set in 2021, and came up with these slight modifications that helped keep the action flowing. Warning, we are somewhat advanced players, so the adjustments may need a little more explanation, but they made a positive impact in how the game played.

I have also uploaded the 3025 battlemechs data conversion from Total Warfare scale into MW-D scale. This really opens up the possibilities for MW-D players! You will need a copy of the MW-D core book, it is not a one stop shop. Support the publisher

Hope you enjoy!

05/12/2022 - So, it begins…

A friend put me in touch with some graphic design training, and I thought how useful it would be to produce some of my own hex maps for the miniatures battle games I am interested in. So this update is telling you about what I am doing, and any developments that are in the works.

First, the hex maps page has my three first maps. I am pretty happy with how they look and offer some small challenge to players.

Second, some friends and I have been working on a D&D 5e setting adaptation for a literary favourite of ours that got a setting in 3.5E but we saw how we could bring it into the modern game. This one we have been working on for about 12 months, and still want to keep it under wraps for the moment, but when we have something we’ll be putting it up here.

Thanks for reading, drop us a or buy your favourite writer a ko-fi :)
